Launch of the Training Program for Community Committees on the Promoting resilience and livelihood project in Al Jawf, Al Hudaydah, Amran, and Dhamar governorates.
BFD has launched the training program for Community Committees on the Promoting resilience and livelihood project in Al Jawf, Al Hudaydah, Amran, and Dhamar governorates in partnership with WFP in coordination with local authorities in each targeted area.
More than 350 Community Committees members from Al Jawf, Amran, and Dhamar participated in the training. The Community Committees were trained on the occupational health and safety concepts and responsibilities of stakeholders, women engagement, and protection of the environment, and their capacity was built for proper management, operation of the assets, and the criteria of registration and selection of the beneficiaries.
