ABOUT Building Foundation for Development:

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE: He/She will be responsible to support the implementation of RH activities components of the project and ensuring that the quality standards are met. He will also ensure the overall strategic framework, technical support, guidance, and leadership for EmONC project
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
RRM survey: He/She will be responsible for traveling to targeted sites to meet with IDPs. Gathering data through the implementation of interviews, surveys, and other methods, recording data in accordance with RRM’s standards, and reporting data back to the Survey Coordinator’s office, either in person or electronically. Collaborate with the Field Supervisor to collect and record data for Multi-tier Frame (DTM). Conduct face-to –face interviews with the selected IDPs, not without first obtaining their permission; Ensure completeness and accuracy of the answers recorded and perform accuracy checks on the questionnaires whenever applicable; Take note on any values for categorical variables that are not already defined in the questionnaire; Deliver completed questionnaires to supervisors; He/She will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the data and survey equipment in a safe and secure manner until it can be delivered to the Survey Coordinator. Safeguard the confidentiality and privacy of the collected information. General: Understand and follow complex directions Work well independently, quickly and efficiently, with a minimum of error. Check, and be accountable for, the accuracy and completeness of all work Be courteous and pleasant and get along well with the IDPs who will be interviewed Solve minor problems that come up. Be motivated to meet the target for number of questionnaires to be completed Come to work on time, every time. Travel to, and find, IDPs (HHs) indicated in targeted place. Conduct Enrollment, verifying and distribution in progress.
Experience and Qualifications
High school or Bachelor’s Degree preferable. Demonstrable experience with mobile data collection platforms, particularly ODK and tablet-based field survey. Knowledge of electrical systems and aware of using Kobo system. Work under pressure and working with team. Work under instructions received by the management. Personal skills in dealing with community and IDPs.
Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS): The role holder is required to carry out the duties in adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards, the values, and principles outlined in BFD’s policies such as Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, Anti-Retaliation, and other internal policies and guidelines.
