“Using irrigation water 💧as efficiently as possible to reduce the water losses and ensure optimal utilization of the available water💦” BFD works in order to achieve sustainable_agricultural_development and best use of water resources and to reach a high productivity per unit area by raising irrigation efficiency and rationalizing water💧 uses, which helps in promoting food security in the targeting areas, improving production quality and reducing costs. To achieve all of that, the BFD distributed modern drip irrigation💧 networks for agricultural crops🌾 to small farmers 🧑🌾and supervised and followed up the installation, operation, and maintenance process. A training course was developed for the beneficiary farmers🧑🌾 to provide them with technical skills and experience in order to be able to manage the modern irrigation networks💧themselves.
