GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION | |
MAIN PURPOSE: The main purpose of a Project Officer for a civic space project is to oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the project. They act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitate community outreach and involvement, monitor and evaluate the project’s progress, maintain detailed records and reporting, and collaborate with various team members to ensure the successful delivery of the civic space project. The Project Officer plays a crucial role in managing the project, engaging the community, and measuring the impact of the initiative to create a functional and inclusive public space. | |

Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS): The role holder is required to carry out the duties in adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards, the values and principles outlined in BFD’s policies such as Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, Anti-Retaliation and other internal policies and guidelines. | |
