GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION | |
MAIN PURPOSE: | |
The warehouse keeper bears full responsibility for following up and receiving all project supplies to the warehouse, checking the quality of the supplies delivered, keeping accurate records of all stored materials, and sending supplies to the targeted locations and centers according to the distribution plan submitted by the project team and approved by the organization’s logistics department. They are under the direct supervision of Logistics management. They will also maintain the cleanliness and order of the warehouse during the project implementation period, whether in warehouses, asset locations, or targeted centers, and follow up on the completion of all evacuations and receipts correctly and review them. | |

The role holder is required to carry out the duties in adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards, the values and principles outlined in BFD’s policies such as Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, Anti-Retaliation, and other internal policies and guidelines.
