GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION |
MAIN PURPOSE: |
The Governorate Supervisor Assistant is responsible for supporting the Governorate Supervisor in managing and coordinating field activities. This includes assisting in planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and standards. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Assist in planning and organizing field activities in coordination with the Governorate Supervisor.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of project implementation to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and challenges to the Governorate Supervisor.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between field teams and the main office.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all project-related documents.
- Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for field staff.
- Monitor the distribution of project materials and resources to ensure they are used effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in field visits to monitor project activities and provide feedback to the Governorate Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Governorate Supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: |
- Bachelor’s degree in management, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in project management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging environments.
- Experience in working with non-governmental organizations is preferred.

The role holder is required to carry out the duties in adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards, the values and principles outlined in BFD’s policies such as Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, Anti-Retaliation, and other internal policies and guidelines.
