Enhancing Social Accountability by using Community score card aiming to improve quality of services
Supporting Good Governance in YEMEN (SGGY) of GIZ with three Yemeni organizations as local project partner: Building Foundation for Development (BFD), Enajz Foundation for Development (EFD) will enhance social accountability by using Community score card to facilitate good governance through promotion of participation, transparency, accountability and informed decision-making.
The CSC approach brings together community members, service providers, and local government to identify service utilization and provision challenges, and to mutually generate solutions, and work in partnership to implement and track the effectiveness of those solutions in an ongoing process of quality improvement. Aiming to improve quality of health, Nutrition and WASH services in Hajr district, Hadramout governorate.
The project will be implemented in Hajr district as integrated to other project implementing currently by BFD (Strengthening resilience and social cohesion of the vulnerable population in eight districts in eight governorates of Yemen) funded by BMZ and Hajr is one of the targeted districts.
EFD targeted Hajar district in development programs, and it is considered highly suitable for this project, as it is possible to be integrated from the community structures that have already been framed and activated.
