Warehouse Keeper

• Monitor the overall movement of therapeutic and preventive supplies and materials, coordinating with the project logistics officer, project coordinator, and relevant authorities to facilitate and ensure safe, secure delivery throughout the supply chain.
• Clean the warehouse prior to receiving therapeutic and preventive nutrition commodities and before/after issuing; segregate and remove any damaged items.
• Receive therapeutic items from the donor’s transporter to BFD warehouses; verify waybill quantities; confirm shelf-life/quality after sorting; record any shortages or damaged items and do not accept them; immediately inform Logistics.
• Supervise palletization and stacking in line with donor standards, keeping items separated by type, clearly labeled, and with adequate spacing/ventilation.
• When damaged/expired items are identified, segregate and quarantine them away from sound stock and promptly notify Logistics management and the project coordinator.
• Continuously monitor warehouse conditions and inventory, and report any presence of pests, rodents, or humidity.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports/summaries covering dispatches, stock counts, and receipts, and reconcile Storekeeper reports with Logistics reports.
• Support regular meetings with the project coordinator on supply plans for therapeutic and preventive foods, and on distribution arrangements and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
• Comply with all organizational systems, policies, and regulations.
• Work as required by operational needs, including during official holidays; attend meetings requested by the governorate coordinator or HQ; perform any other duties assigned by project management.
• Ensure all reports are submitted on time as required by the operation.
• Safeguard project assets and items under custody and return them upon request.

• Preferably holds a relevant technical/scientific qualification.
• Nutrition training related to CMAM is an asset.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in logistics and warehouse management.
• Good IT skills with experience using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including handling phone and email inquiries professionally.
