Yemen faces continuation of high food needs, in addition to limited livelihoods and resilience, which have been eroded by negative coping strategies. Through this 8-month project, BFD will target a total of 7,953 people (through Food for Assets, Food for training, and smallholder groups programs in 11 districts across Al Jawf, Al Hudaydah, Amran, and Dhamar governorates. BFD intends to utilize the FFA, FFT, and livelihood activities to promote and support more sustainable food and livelihood opportunities in the targeted communities, as well as provide communal assets that benefit the wider community.
