GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the Quality Field Monitor position is to manage and improve the quality and efficiency of health services provided by the hospital, in accordance with the medical standards and protocols recommended by MoPHP. This role involves overseeing the infection control, medical equipment and supplies, staff attendance and performance, reporting and documentation, monitoring and evaluation, and referral cases of the hospital. This role also involves providing guidance, support and training to the health staff and facilitating field activities at the hospital. Quality Field Monitor requires strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the infection control in the health facilities and ensure avoiding misuse of care.
- responsible for ensuring the quality of services provided by Health facilities
- Regular follow up (Checkup) for medical equipment, devices and supply: avoiding waste of equipment, supplies (medications, medical supplies, etc.……), and energy.
- Ensure provision of and compliance with medical standard including medical prescription and rational use of medication and medical supply by health service providers.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on health services in terms of performance, efficiency and quality of service.
- Daily follow up for attendance records and shift times for the staff in HFs.
- Provide guidance and support in addition to job training on providing quality services to employees in the targeted health facilities.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly follow-up reports on the progress of activities related to health services provided at the hospital.
- Follow up referral cases and raising all related documents.
- Raising success stories with related picture and documents.
- Responsible for documentation (photos & reports) for all project activities at the hospital.
- Conduct regular check-ups and analysis of the progress of health indicators of services.
- Facilitate and monitor field activities at the targeted hospital.
- Support the foundation on all monitoring and evaluation needs across implementing areas.
- S/he will support the project management in ensuring timely and quality reporting.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to Site project team relating to health services, quality and performance issues.
- Ensure that health staff in hospital understand and implement the treatment guidelines and protocols recommended by MoPHP.
- Carry out any other reasonable responsibilities as requested by the higher manager
Preferred Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- DEPLOMA’s degree in related field or its equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in a similar context
- Have got training in quality control
- Previous experience of supervising staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate strategically under pressure
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and excellent sense of organization
- Excellent writer – the ability to develop high-quality reports and accurately analyze data
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Organization and ability to manage priorities
- Proactive approach to identifying solutions
- Flexibility and capacity to adapt to complex and changing contexts
- Familiar with the multicultural environment
