GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION |
MAIN PURPOSE:
Collecting, compiling, sorting data and entering data into database software, and initiating the proper accurate reports. |
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Establishing databases properly based on the needed information and preparing and sorting documents for data entry.
- Day to day data entry into the database of RRM dashboard system and guarantee the accuracy of information and prevent duplication.
- Write a report and compare of pharmacist materials that are available in the stoke with those who are consumed.
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the field for resolution
- Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan.
- Responding to information requests and provide basic data analysis and findings on a weekly and monthly basis to both M&E department & project management.
- Compile and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Review, verify data and make corrections where necessary.
- Generate regular reports, store completed work in designated locations.
- Preparing weekly IDPs lists of Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) to be uploaded into the RRM referral system.
- Scan documents and print files.
- Maintain records of activities and tasks.
- Conduct both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to BFD and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
- Ensure the respect of the principle of confidentially and not to disclose any information acquire by performing her/his duties.
- Comply with BFD policies and procedures with respect to code of conduct, child protection, equal opportunities, security and safety, and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Commit to the humanitarian principles of strict neutrality, religious and political impartiality and non-discrimination.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.

Requirements and Qualifications |
- University degree in a subject area of information management or relevant field.
- Extensive work experience relevant to this post may be considered as a replacement for formal qualifications.
- Formal training in cluster information management an advantage.
- At least 2 years progressively responsible humanitarian work experience with UN and/or NGO, including information management in the first phase of a major emergency response relevant to the cluster. Extensive work experience outside the humanitarian sector which is relevant to this post may be considered as a replacement for humanitarian experience.
- English, (verbal and written) is highly preferred.

Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS): The role holder is required to carry out the duties in adherence to the Core Humanitarian Standards, the values, and principles outlined in BFD’s policies such as Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, Anti-Retaliation, and other internal policies and guidelines.
