FFT Program
The BFD devotes a great deal of attention to strengthening women’s participation and economic empowerment through the creation of sustainable livelihoods and improving access to basic services.
On this basis, the BFD, through the FFT program – in partnership with WFP – plays a leading role in reducing the hardships suffered by Yemeni women and the improvement of their lives by implementing projects in various governorates. Like to build the Human capital, especially of women: this pillar relies on Food Assistance for Training (FFT) to enhance the basic and market able skills of women in the targeted districts through literacy, numeracy, and vocational training.
